Easter Weekend
Jazz games and and Zoo trips and WICKED, oh my! Justin and I were doing our part in stimulating the economy last weekend. Needless to say we will now be doing nothing for a while. You are welcome economy. WICKED was SO amazing. Thanks Mrs. Rachel for letting me buy your hubby's ticket from him :) Sadly the Jazz lost but I did catch a free tiny basketball for Cole. This was my first holiday as a parent where Cole actually got into the festivities. Cole is now a master Easter egg hunter. I had some decorative eggs on a table arrangement that he would point at for me to hide for him. The Easter bunny even brought me a basket to my surprise! Complete with flowers, all the chocolate a girl could ever want and a mani/pedi gift certificate. Thanks red headed Easter Bunny.

You can't make this kind of thing up!
If you have read the book or watched the movie you understand why this is ironic and funny. The DVD is shot - thanks Bailey.

I rarely buy DVDs I have always thought they were a waste of money. I talked myself into this one since it is SO much like our naughty dog. The last non-baby DVD I bought was Harry Potter as a replacement after Bailey chewed through my mom's copy. Thanks Bailey.
The partners in crime. I was actually cleaning up a million tiny pieces of a swiffer sweeper that Cole had handed off to Bailey when he gave him the DVD. Lovely. It has just been one of those days. Cole LOVES the dogs. He watches them play outside for hours which I have to admit is a nice perk. At this moment I have to say that is the only perk I can think of. I hope Cole still loves our dog after he finds out his college fund had to go to replacing items Bailey has destroyed.

Bailey and his new life partner Bear my sisters dog. We have a full house here now that my sister has moved in for the next little while. It is just like I am 15 again living in my parents house with my sister......except for the husband, baby, 2 dogs and no parents part.
I hope everyone got a nice little laugh at my crazy Saturday. Enjoy your weekend!

When did my baby become a little boy?
It seems like overnight Cole has transformed from a soft spoken timid baby to a kitchen table climbing wild little boy. When did this happen? I know I should be thrilled that he can open doors and is strong enough to climb on EVERYTHING and rearrange the furniture (really he pushes the coffee table and kitchen chairs all over). Thrilled in not the word I would choose just yet. The other day out of the corner of my eye I caught him jumping from a kitchen chair onto the table. While I am quite impressed he pulled this stunt off without any injury or damage to the furniture - I am feeling more and more like a referee these days. I hope my EMT training is not going to be needed this soon in my child's life.
